The Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) – one of two permanent subsidiary bodies to the Conference of the Parties (COP) – has formally decided to punt its decision on the CCS question until COP16 in Mexico next year, or perhaps even COP17 in South Africa in 2011.
