EU carbon edges up in muted trade

(Reuters) – European carbon emissions futures inched up in early trade on Friday amid muted trading activity, largely ignoring gains in energy prices, traders said.

EU Allowances for December delivery were up 4 cents or 0.26 percent at 15.45 euros ($21.10) a tonne at 0726 GMT, with light volume of 347 lots traded.
