Zyxel Wireless ADSL2+ Router has been granted a carbon footprint label by Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) in Taiwan. ZyXEL is among the first group of Taiwan companies to achieve this distinction, and is also the first networking equipment maker to receive this honor.

With the international community placing a growing emphasis on disclosing carbon footprint information, the Taiwan government announced the carbon footprint labeling system to help businesses gear themselves up to the global trend of making products greener and of helping to mitigate global warming.

As per a news release, ZyXEL not only complies with the EU directives and compels its suppliers and self to meet international customers environmental-friendly requests, but it has also completed a Coordinated Information System establishment and carbon emission investigation.

As a responsible global corporate citizen, ZyXEL will be aggressively seeking innovative green ways to develop its products and technologies for a better environment, and is committed to taking all the necessary steps required, to further reduce its green house gas emission levels.
