Both associations carbon industry firms and are expected to organize a joint meeting next month to select the board of the new amalgamated association. that the new body will be named Carbon Markets Investors Association; however, the name isnt final yet.
Imtiaz Ahmad, VP of INCIS, states that this step will give the carbon industry a united voice when significant changes are taking place in the international community. Similar views were expressed by Anthony Hobley, chairman of the CMA.
