Sen. Lisa Murkowski is working on alternative plans to limit carbon dioxide emissions while not harming the economy, a Republican staffer tells a Washington Post reporter.
McKie Campbell, a Republican staff director on the energy committee who is from Alaska, told the Post that Murkowski is looking at various options, one of which is a “net-zero carbon tax.”
