Around 300 organisations are still completing their registration for the Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme, nearly a fortnight after the deadline passed.
According to the Environment Agency, it was approached by these organisations before the 30 September deadline. However, despite warnings of financial penalties being imposed for organisations not meeting the deadline, the agency said it had not charged anyone yet.

Eligible organisations who did not register by the deadline were expected to be fined
