A group of politicians criticized the British government for not doing enough to cut its own carbon emissions. The biggest area of concern was the boost in electricity consumption resulting from increased computer usage. The politicians report stated that the government wont be able to meet its own . Moreover, since the British government has decided to go carbon neutral by 2012, it will have no other choice than to purchase carbon offsets.
