NEW DELHI (Reuters) – Developing nations may need to slow projected growth in their carbon emissions by 15 percent by 2020 if rich countries agree to reduce theirs by up to 40 percent for a new global deal, a top U.N. official said on Thursday.

CLIMATE change is happening. There is no longer any doubt. The science is certain that humans are causing an increase in global temperatures. We can have a debate about how quickly it is happening and the effects _ even there the science is firming _ but it is clear that the planet is warming and the consequence of this is grave.
