(NewDesignWorld Press Center) – Today, Shell Canada submitted a regulatory application for its Quest Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project located in central Alberta. Quest is a fully integrated CCS project, meaning it will capture, transport (pipeline) and store carbon dioxide (CO2). Shell submitted the application on behalf of the Athabasca Oil Sands Project, a joint venture among Shell Canada Energy (60%) Chevron Canada Limited (20%) and Marathon Oil Canada Corporation (20%).
