For the fourth consequential year TeliaSonera is the number one telecom operator in the Nordic Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). Globally TeliaSonera ranks among the telecom sectors five leaders.
Additionally this year, TeliaSonera is featured in CDPs Nordic 200 Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI). The CDLI is an index comprising of 20 companies within Nordic stock exchanges, regardless of industry sector, which have displayed the most professional approach to corporate governance in respect of climate change disclosure practices.
TeliaSonera has worked actively with carbon reduction and energy efficiency since the 1990s and has reported on its environmental strategies and progress through CDP, since 2003.

Globally CDP represents 534 institutional investors with 64 trillion USD in assets under management, providing an evaluation tool for institutional investors. The Nordic Leadership Index in 2010 comprises 20 constituents of the Nordic 200 Index based on analysis of the responses to CDP 2010 questionnaire, which focused on greenhouse gas emissions, emission reduction targets and risks and opportunities associated with climate change.
