SPPI Launches Monthly CO2 Report Online

The Science and Public Policy Institute has launched a new online publication, Monthly CO2 Report, edited by Christopher Monckton.

Monckton, a key policy advisor to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, was a keynote speaker at the 2009 International Conference on Climate Change.

Each issue, viewable in Adobes PDF format, runs about 20 pages and contains graphs, photographs, and other visuals supplementing articles on the latest global warming science.

The January and February issues reported:

* Global temperatures cooled during most of the Bush administration.

* Carbon dioxide levels are not rising as rapidly as predicted by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

* Sea level is rising at a much slower pace than projected by the IPCC.

* Antarctic sea ice reached record levels during the past two years.

* Hurricane and tropical storm activity has been unusually low in recent years.

* The Middle Ages were significantly warmer than today.
