I’ve been thinking about these sorts of calculations for a while now and one curiosity I’ve come up with is whether or not all the emissions are fairly attributed to each person? The reason the question arises is that some production isn’t directly linked to consumption. Companies sometimes produce less or more than than are needed and bought. The same would apply for materials either produced or mined. How would we account for this discrepancy in our plans? Would you wish make it a smaller rate or percentage for things that were going to done no matter who bought them?

To be fair I must end with stating that changing our liftstyles to be more efficent will of course be all around beneficial but I’m wondering if the way people are being led to about these might be problematic.

    Cheers,
    A Willson
