EU emissions have dropped, but carbon credits can mean future pollution


Greenhouse gas emissions across the European Union are in steep decline, according to new figures released today. Emissions covered by the EU Emissions Trading Scheme between 2008 and 2009 dropped by 11%, following on from a cut of 6% the year before.
