University of North Dakotas has joined hands with on a project to cut CO2 emissions and make ducks lives better at the same time. The project will take place in the covering parts of nine states along with four Canadian provinces.
The scheme, funded by the federal Energy Dept, will preserve grasslands for ducks and will stop carbon inside the soil from escaping into the environment, which is known as terrestrial sequestration.
