IRVINE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Village Green Global, Inc. today announced a joint venture with sustainable fuel company Carbon Credited Farming Plc (CCF) to create a carbon and credit trading desk (Carbon Desk) to take advantage of carbon and other offset credits generated by CCF’s sustainable oil and other Cleantech operations. The Carbon Desk will serve as a commercial fulcrum for credit market activities as well as a point of reference for enterprises to get information and advice relating to purchasing carbon and other credits. Companies will use Village Green’s SMARTweb® SaaS-based auditing tool to assess the environmental cost of their activities and determine the optimal balance of cost reductions and purchases of credits to offset these costs.
