UN Launches Air Travel Calculator
reports that the U.N.'s International Civil Aviation Organization has launched a in a bid to standardize the carbon offset schemes provided by various airlines. Given the fact that carbon offsetting has been initiated as a voluntary market that is devoid of stringent regulations, airlines continue to offer disparate offsets.
