BT Conferencing, a provider of collaboration solutions, has entered into an agreement with CO2NeutralConferencing.com, a carbon neutral conferencing service provider, to provide carbon neutral conferencing services in Asia Pacific.
This collaboration will provide low-cost conferencing services that will be offset by carbon credits. This enables customers to reduce their costs whilst simultaneously being more environmentally friendly.
Aaron McCormack, CEO, BT Conferencing, said, “BT sees great synergies by working with CO2NeutralConferencing.com to extend the environmental and financial benefits of conferencing solutions to CO2NeutralConferencing.com’s customers. This partnership will allow collaboration with partners, suppliers, customers and others all while reducing carbon emissions.”
In addition to their conferencing services, CO2NeutralConferencing.com provides business travel reduction consulting, which helps their customers put in place a strategy for audio, web, video conferencing and unified communications. These services combined can reduce spending and carbon emissions by reducing corporate travel expenses, the company said.
Customers can also benefit from several add-on services including: “CO2NeutralMILES” corporate incentive scheme that rewards customers’ employees for using technology rather than traveling in person for meetings; Carbon Reduction Reporting, which provides an annual report detailing emissions saved by using conferencing; and providing figures that can be quoted in CSR reports.
Daryl Hutchings, Co-Founder, CO2NeutralConferencing.com, said, “Our unique approach, environmental procedures, full suite of services and cost effectiveness are what really sets us apart. Having the support of organizations such as environmental charity WWF and corporations with a strong sense of corporate responsibility only re-iterates this. With the current global financial crisis, we help companies put a strategy in place to save money, reduce reliance on flights, be more productive and, of course, more environmentally friendly.”
