The Florida Energy and Climate Commission holds its second meeting this morning to discuss, among other things, a carbon cap-and-trade system for Florida.
When the seven-member commission meets this morning, the agenda will include “renewable portfolio standards,” for Florida’s power plants as well as the cap-and-trade system that would allow industry to earn credits, available for resale, for reducing green-house gas emissions.
The commission meets in Room 101 of the Senate Office Building.
