American DG Energy Inc., (NYSE Amex: ADGE) a leading On-Site Utility offering clean electricity, heat, hot water and cooling solutions to hospitality, healthcare, housing and athletic facilities, today announced that the total carbon offset of all its combined heat and power (CHP) projects beginning in 2003 to the period ending September 30, 2009 is 60,000 tons. This represents the equivalent of planting 12,000 acres of forest or taking 10,000 cars off the road. Going forward, the total energy revenue projected for the remainder of agreements now in place is over $112 million, over the next 15 years, with anticipated additional carbon offsets of 357,000 tons. This is the approximate equivalent of 73,000 acres of new forest or 60,000 cars removed from the roads. These are Company estimates, based on calculations made with the US EPA CHP Partnership emissions calculator.
