UK sets agenda for adopting low carbon and electric cars

Experts from the energy and automotive sector are meeting with government officials in London today to discuss how to accelerate the mass production of low carbon and electric vehicles.

Representatives from more than 15 countries will be discussing the technological challenges and key barriers to low carbon and electric vehicles, with the aim of reaching a consensus on taking the sector forward.

The meetings conclusions will be fed into the G8 Energy Forum in Japan in November and the London Energy Summit in December.
