Scotland has decided to assist Maldives in its plans to go carbon-neutral by 2020. Speaking from Scotland Ahmed Shafeeg, Special Envoy for Science and Technology said that Scotland is a country which already operates large wind farms and a country which had already got green technology. He also said that Scotlands decision to assist Maldives is a great achievement for the President Nasheeds carbon-neutral policy.
