New Insignia Ecoflex Sports Tourer with sub 140g/km CO2

| Sourced From |

Vauxhall has released details on its new Insignia EcoFlex Sport Tourer, which emits just 139g/km of carbon dioxide.

This Insignia estate’s lowly carbon dioxide emissions drop it four tax bands compared with the standard model, and offers company car drivers an 18 percent benefit-in-kind rating. Claimed combined fuel economy of 53.7mpg gives it a range of over 800 miles.

Under the bonnet the Insignia Ecoflex retains the 2.0-litre CDTi engine from the standard model, and its 160bhp means a respectable 0-62mph time of 9.3 seconds with a top speed of 134mph.

Revised aerodynamics, altered gearing and low rolling resistance tyres all help it to achieve the improved efficiency.
