The UK building industry must halve carbon emissions by 2020, the head of an industry environmental body will say today.
UK Green Building Council chief executive Paul King said the sector is able to cut emissions from buildings by 50 per cent even though the Climate Change Act requires a 34 per cent cut by 2020 across the UK economy.
