Deforestation and outdated farming methods combine to generate more than 30% of all greenhouse gas emissions, which is why financing mechanisms aimed at tackling both are hot topics as UN Climate talks open today. The REDD+ Partners spent Sunday working through their two-year work program, and posted the latest version late Wednesday night.
The REDD+ Partnership has now posted its working plan for 2011 and 2012. You can download it from their site, or to the right. Partners and stakeholders can make comments via e-mail until Sunday evening, and the final version is expected next Monday (see article below).
