The EESCs stance on security scanners at EU airports and the EUs roadmap for a low-carbon energy system will be discussed at the upcoming plenary session of the European Economic and Social Committee on 16 and 17 February. Mercedes Bresso, president of the Committee of Regions, will attend the plenary session to give her recipe for the success of the Europe 2020 strategy.
