Novo Nordisk pharmaceutical company reduces CO2 emissions and water use due to energy savings in all production facilities.

According to the annual report for 2009, Novo Nordisk pharmaceutical company increased its workforce by 8 percent and sales by 12 percent, and also exceeded long-term targets for reducing CO2 emissions, water consumption and total energy consumption.
